Leeds United? Premiership B? Hmm……

I don't suspect that it got too many but we had a bit of a chuckle (albeit a small one) putting them together and it must have taken all of two minutes to fiddle with the Premiership logo to add a B onto the end of it.   Having said that, knowing the way football operates against unofficial websites I suspect that by the end of the day there will be a writ in the inbox for infringement of their intellectual rights.  Can the people who run football really claim that?

So sadly there will be no Premiership football for us next season.  The Championship will remain exactly what it is although it should (hopefully) be boosted by the presence of Swansea City in it and Pete Winkleman to our knowledge has not tabled such a proposal.  Mind you the concept of trying to move a football team to a new location was one that we thought was a wind up when it first happened so anything is possible.  And maybe the thought of 200,000 Swedes watching the game in Stockholm's version of Walkabout is a pipe dream.  Well, for now anyway.

And as for Richard Cramer and his belief.  To our knowledge he has not said anything since the initial comments about their 25-30% chance of getting back points.  Well, that again is not strictly true he has probably said much but there is nothing we can find about this particular case.   That one was just designed to get the people at the world's favourite club (ahem!) thinking and no doubt a few of them gave the whippet an extra bonio as a direct result.   Having said that mind if we did give them eight points back they would be within sixteen points of us.   Blimey, there's a thought.

Anyway that was April 1st and, in much the same way there was always something on this site's previous life there will be on here – bet you can't wait the 364 days until we do it all again.  No, really.

Onwards and upwards

Swansea City: Andy Coleman has much to answer for right now

Swansea City Chairman Andy Coleman has often asked us to judge him by his actions and all too often when we sit back and do judge him on those actions we realise just how out of his depth he is as Chairman of a professional football club. Many people will…
