He told the official Swansea City website swanseacity.net

“I think it was a very good scoreline

“It was important to win and I’m very pleased with the performance, especially in the second-half.

“The reaction we showed in the second-half was completely different. We controlled the tempo, we slowed it down and sped it up when he had to, that allowed us to create enough chances to win the game comfortably.

“If you look at the stats we reduced Watford into two corners and no shots on target in the second-half, and that shows the energy and work of the players.

“I thought Watford started a little bit better doing what they’re good at in the first-half

“They adapted well, controlled the tempo of the game and made it very difficult for us.

“They are a team with huge experience at this level and they know how to be effective.”
