Today’s Sunday papers are reporting that Swansea City are going head to head with Edinburgh duo Hearts and Hibs on the trail of Tuffey who made his full international debut in midweek.
The keeper was a half time substitute for Maik Taylor in their 2-0 defeat – both goals coming in the second half past Tuffey.
The papers report that the keepers skills “have caught the attention of Swans boss Roberto Martinez following the facial injury sustained by Dorus De Vries”
Tuffey said “Ever played has ambitions to represent his country but I know I must play at the highest level possible to fulfil those ambitions”
As ever there were no quotes from a Swans official….
