Scotland told the Evening Post “I went to Ipswich to play football and I’m not doing that
“I am at that point in my career when I need to be playing, not sitting on the bench.
“The new manager has come in and I have not had a chance, but I feel I have a lot to contribute.
“I had a word with him and he is happy to let me go.
“If Swansea are interested in me it would be great. I enjoyed the best time of my career there and it would be an easy decision for me.
“I have seen Swansea play a few times this season,” he said. “The squad is almost the same and the style of football is perfect โ that is the style that suits me best.
“I have made 19 starts this season and I’ve done well โ I know I would score goals there because of the style Swansea play.
“Swansea are looking very strong again this season.
“Automatic promotion should still be the target โ Swansea have a big chance of achieving that.
“If Swansea come calling then it would be an easy decision. I’m not interested in going to any other club.
“It’s up to Swansea now to speak to Ipswich and make something happen.”
