Vorm – We Worked Very Hard

Michel Vorm heads off on international duty expecting to hear the plaudits of one of the men he kept at bay today

Vorm may have breathed a sigh of releif as Dirk Kuyt’s late goal was disallowed but he expects to hear how well the Swans played from his international team mate when they meet up again in mid week

Vorm told the official site after the game “He enjoyed the game despite being on the bench, and I will catch up with him properly in the week when we are away with Holland

“I expect he will talk about us playing some very nice football.

“Today everyone saw that we are tough team to beat.

“We could have lost it, but we also had chances to win it, so it was a good draw overall.

“I watched the referee in the corner of my eye, and I saw he was giving offside.

“Kuyt was running about cheering but then saw the flag. But the defence did very well again there.

“As a team we worked so hard. We fought for every second of the game.

“If you have that mentality in the way you play then you will do well.”
