Brendan Rodgers has responded to criticism by Andre Villas-Boas by saying ‘I’ve done nothing wrong’

Villas-Boas – coming under increasing pressure at Chelsea – hit out at the weekend by saying it was wrong for Swansea to be talking about taking Josh McEachran on loan after Brendan admitted that he would love to take the youngster on loan in January.

But Rodgers hit backย “You can look back at what I said because I said it on television.

“I was asked if I would be interested in taking Josh on loan.

“I said that if Chelsea were to make him available, I am sure there would be a lot of clubs who would want him and we would be one of them.

“If that’s talking about another club’s player โ€” well it’s an interesting one.”
