Britton Not Thinking Of England Call Up

Leon Britton admits that he is not thinking of a potential call up as he gets linked with that very possibility

Britton is just one of the names being linked with a potential call up with the names of Danny Graham, Nathan Dyer and Scott Sinclair also in there as the Swans make an impact on the Premier League.

But Britton is not focused on that as he explained to Wales on Sundayย โ€œItโ€™s a great feeling for me and a few of the boys to be mentioned with England squads.

โ€œIt shows how far the club have come and how well the team are doing this season.

โ€œIf youโ€™d have asked me a year or six months ago that Iโ€™d be thinking of England, Iโ€™d be lying if I said yes.

โ€œBut people are sitting up and take notice. They wouldnโ€™t be doing that if we were in the Championship or bottom of the Premier League.

โ€œBut I have to be honest and Iโ€™ve never really thought about England, not even this season.

โ€œIโ€™ve been more worried about keeping my place in the Swansea team. Itโ€™s the main thing for me.โ€
