As Luton Town secured all three points away from home then you will clearly be full of praise for your side and Nathan Jones was no different last night as his side left the Swansea.com Stadium with all three points in the bag.

A second half strike from Harry Cornick was the only goal of the game but it was the general all round performance of his side that attracted the praise from Jones who described the win as massive and his side as ‘Strong, disciplined and aggressive’ when he reflected back on the match with the press after the game.

“It’s a massive win,” he told the Hatters official website.

“For me, these are as difficult a side to play against in terms of trickiness, they dominate possession and they caused real problems. You have to be organised, be aggressive and real clinical when you get the opportunities and that’s what we were today. Wonderful away performance.

“Tactical awareness that we had today was wonderful. Strong, disciplined, aggressive. We had chances and the game changers come on and won us the game, it was a complete away performance, to come here and win 1-0 is a wonderful result.

“We are very close to those play-off positions and we have a game in hand. What we’ve asked them to do, the four games we’ve had called off – Reading, Bristol City, Swansea and Coventry – we’ve won all three so far and we celebrated because the fans were magnificent, come down here on a Tuesday night, massive journey, so we wanted to repay them.”

Been watching the Swans since the very late 1970s and running this website (in all its current and previous guises) since the summer of 2001 As it stood JackArmy.net was right at the forefront of some of the activity against Tony Petty back in 2001, breaking many of the stories of the day as fans stood against the actions where the local media failed. Was involved with the Swans Supporters Trust from 2005, for the large part as Chairman before standing down in the summer of 2020.
