Stop the press. A good player is on his way?!

The Swans look to be pulling off a coup of sorts with the loan signing of Karlan Grant thought to be close from West Bromwich Albion.

Grant is a consistent goalscorer at Championship level with 18 last season, assisting six as the Baggies fell off at the end of the campaign under Steve Bruce.

Signing at the Hawthorns in 2020, the 25 year old struggled to make an impact in the Premier League but nobody can argue with his ability at this level.

The deal is likely to be confirmed before tonight’s deadline according to Stuart James at the Athletic.

UPDATE – Deal is off.
