That is the view anyway of Swansea City midfielder Darren Pratley who believes that Dobbie will want to take over the penalty duties at the Liberty.
Cotterill missed his second penalty of the season against the leaders – he also missed at Norwich – and that means there is likely to be a change in duties as to who will get the honours next time.
Pratley told the Evening Post “It’s frustrating not to have taken all three points when we had a penalty miss
“If we had scored then I think we would have gone on to win the game, but we’re not blaming Cotts.
“You have got to be brave enough to take them and it’s always hard to take a penalty.
“I know how it feels because I’ve missed one myself, and I don’t fancy taking them now.
“That’s a couple Cotts has missed, though, and I think Stephen Dobbie might be on his case about taking the next one.
“QPR controlled it better than us in the first half and not many teams do that at our place.
“They are a good team, but we got into it more in the second half.
“It’s another point on the board against the side who are top of the league and, if we can get another win against Leicesterย on Saturday, it will set us up nicely for the cup game at Wigan.
“Sven-Goran Eriksson got his first win in midweek and they will be looking to carry that on, so it’s another big game.”
