Roger Freestone will always be one of my all-time favourite Swans players.

He was my hero as a child! Ive still got the horrendous luminous orange and purple goalkeeper top from circa 1998.

Mike hughes was the regular keeper when I first started watching the swans in 85/86
A cracking keeper who would’ve gone on to bigger things, if it wasn’t for the head injury he picked up at Crewe in 1987, cutting short his career.

Tragic end to his career. We were flying when he had to retire. Peter Guthrie came in for him on loan and was largely terrible but he redeemed himself in the playoff final at Torquay.
