Seeing that he's backup to Franco with us and to James at international level perhaps the risks aren't that great from half an hour cameos. In fact it may be beneficial for us as it helps to build his match fitness.
 
Yes there are risks of Allen getting injured on international duty but it's great to hear Williams accentuate the positives of Swans player involvement in the national side. Cooper has clearly returned from Wales duty with a lot of confidence. The form of Cabango and Cullen has been excellent also. I get the impression that players going away on international duty under Bellamy are really enjoying it. Yes there are risks from Joe getting involved but there are definitely potential benefits too.
 
Don't think this is a great idea for all parties.

Not getting younger and nothing to prove........dont ruin it Joey boy.
