• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Ridiculous. Him and Ramsey are both done. I'm not sure Allen has much to add to us anyway (if he wasn't Joey he'd be getting pelters for his performances as sub lately), but this will mean he's out for international breaks and even more tired or likely broken when he comes back.

Completely agree with every word of that.

Absolutely mental.

And David Cotterill, plenty of old talent that could do a job for Bellers
Not sure David would have the time these days, in between his conspiracy theories and all that.

Some folk once stated that the grand plan was to transition him into coaching and management. Little sign of that so far, little sign of much at all tbh.
I think he will eventually move over to a coaching roll, unfortunately for us it wasn't two years ago, but having said that, nobody can blame him for pocketing the money if another playing contract is waved in front of him...

I remember him being with the coaches during warm-ups for the Preston game. Not sure if that means anything.

True, let’s see what happens. I’m not aware of him going on record and stating that this is what he sees as his next move. Of course, he’s not obliged to either, but some pros in the twilight of their career do make such statements.
