• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I've been watching a lot of Metz this season in France League 2 because my French mate here in Spain is a lifelong supporter of his home town club. The standard of that league is surprisingly high, and Metz have an outstanding midfielder in the Ferre Bodde mould called Gauthier Hein who I'd like us to go in for. He's 28, which is the only downside, but he's therefore affordable at around £2 million. Whether Metz would part with him is another matter.
You could possibly put yourself forward as a scout for the club, covering matches in Spain. Hopefully you can find another Rangel or 2 out there for us.

I could, problem is I don't watch matches in Spain, other than a visit to Valencia once a season on a jolly with my walking football team, and the odd game at local club Pego, which is about the level of Welsh league third tier.

I await the 'who gives a f*ck?' responses, but it was kinda cool to see him get a last minute winner for his boyhood club last night. Cracker of a volley as well.

I'm half way in the camp of who gives a f*ck 😅😅. A player who threw his toys when he didn't get his way with a contract to then play poker with us last year and he didn't end up at a club and went to USA for short period. On his day he was good. But very inconsistent. Fair play good goal, for home club. But no more talk of him nor Grimes 😅😅
