• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Serious rumours that Steve Cooper may be going to Cardiff.

Big question - would Tatey go with him?

I think he would tbh, it’s a payed job for him and they’ll look past it all, Cooper managed us and his dad is Cardiff through and through.

Bit of a come down after being in the prem, Liverpool and England set ups.

I wonder how much Forest and Leicester paid him off.. Great work if you can get it

Alan Curtis and Robbie James played for Cardiff and there are no two more dyed in the wool Jacks than them.

Yeah, it's not an issue for most players, whatever fans might think. Tosh is one of our favourite sons, and theirs. Tatey and Trunds though...🤣

It would be a good fit. he can go back to long ball grinding with no discontent from the stands. That said, unless they pay top whack, it may well be more beneficial for him to stay out of work, depending on his contractual arrangements with Leicester on his compensation.

He'd be crazy to go there now, he's just had a big payout and can afford to wait for a team in much better short and long term shape to approach him.

His family are supposedly all Cardiff fans. I'm pretty resigned to him joining them at this point, and it worries me a touch. We can talk about his snake-like persona all we want, but he's a very good manager at this level, I can't believe Cardiff even have a chance at him

Can't see him joining that circus. The club isn't big enough for him.

Take out the Cardiff connections and this wouldn't be a conversation.

Good manager at this level with good players. Theirs are shit.

In a sense that makes it worse. If he can't clear up the mess and they get relegated, his family etc won't be particularly welcome there.

He can have his pick for when be wants to manage them and now is a terrible time to go there. There's a reason no decent manager is falling over themselves to take over and they're stuck with a caretaker coach.

A club that has never had any clear philosophy or clearly defined way that they want to play, employ a manager who is quite happy playing huff and puff direct football designed to get short term results, in front of fans who don't give a shit about the spectacle and will only complain if they're not winning.

Absolute match made in heaven if you ask me. A much better fit for them than he was here.

Think he will end up at Palace in the new year trying to keep them up.

They’ll do well to employ him. He plays winning football at this level, opinions of the experts on here are not worth a wank, when he has proved it three times over.

I hope he doesn’t go there for that reason.
