• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

It's the ones that can't accept Martin might just have got some things right while he was here, and a refusal to countenance that there were some mitigating circumstances for his failure, are the ones with the problem.

There's not much point getting one or two things right if the things you are getting wrong are utterly avoidable. If anything that makes it worse. Having the potential to do so much better yet steadfastly refusing to do so.

Martin is not an idiot. Even now I don't doubt that he's well aware of the problems he had here and is currently having at Southampton and how he could prevent a lot of them, but to do so would be to admit failure. His ego simply won't allow that.

Much like his ego simply won't allow any kind of public acknowledgement that he bears responsibility for it. Hence players (and now his own supporters it would seem) getting thrown under the bus with monotonous regularity. He's a complete narcissist.

Throwing people under the bus is on his list of hobbies along with eating tofu, talking shit and long walks in the country side.

Eh?
The manager who took us to the League 1 title & gave me one of the best seasons I've had supporting the Swans - can't agree with that.
Russ has won nothing, no comparison
Martinez has been found out at the top level.

How he continues to get these gigs is beyond me.

Don't doubt that he's not an elite manager but he did a fantastic job for us (leaving aside the way he left) & he's the last manager outside a top 6 club to win the FA Cup so not a fraud really!

He's borderline......

Jesus!
Some obsessiveness on here!

I have sympathy for the girls who have ended relationship with some of you over the years given the reaction some of you are showing over a man in his 30s who once managed our club.

Quite disturbing.
