It doesn't help when Williams tells them to dribble infield with the ball, fair enough if they keep possession.. but they lose it and the gaps of the grand canyon emerge.. it happened against Leeds.. it happened today, Sunderland did what Leeds did and just waited for the inevitable mistakes to occur

Teams have been doing that against us for the last 4 seasons, let us have the ball then capitalise on the inevitable mistakes

Yeah fair comment.

Tymon in particular is awful. I've never seen such a slow fullback. Good left foot and all that but for his net contribution to the side is negative because he can't do bread and butter defending.

Kinell.
It’s all down to Williams’ obsession with embellishing his CV, a la Martin. An entirely selfish mission, at all costs (to us fans and our Club).

We’ve been here before. Stop the rot, now.

He thinks he’s trendily playing inverted FBs- in the vain hope he gets spotted.

It’s tragic for some of us proper, purist observers of all things Swans, who will always call out him and his ilk of pretenders.

It's quite clear he wants his defence to play narrow, allow the ball to come in and then clear.

But we don't really clear it when it comes on or deal with it.
