I would agree with you if we were in the relation zone but that statement is very OTT when we are sat 13th in the league.

I think we’re okay from the point of view of survival. There is a debate on forward momentum. I’m just not a big believer in constant managerial change. Someone like Duff is different, completely out of his depth.

I think it being football in general is definitely a factor. More and more being pumped in at the top and the standard elsewhere getting worse and worse. Also the sheer sterility of it all now. It’s all so corporate with everyone involved only caring about money or the chance of future money,

My love has been declining for years.

I do feel sorry for the young guys and gals. I suppose they’ll never know as it’s what they’re used to.

Still a great game but the constant shift away from the fan is sad. You can go all the way back to the Bosman ruling to see the seeds being planted.
