• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

A bizarre one last night, even by my standards. At some point during the night I was transported into the live audience watching Neil and his rendition of Hole In My Shoe. It’s now the subject of todays humming.

Stop eating mature cheddar before bed 🤷🏻
My mum always said to not eat cheese before bed. Not an issue for me as I don’t like cheese.

The study of dreams is something I will give more focus to when time allows. I’d like to understand more about the theory.

You don't like cheese!? 😮

Missing out on so much, like cheese on toast, beans on toast with cheese, pizza.......

I’m ok with some forms and getting bolder with age. I wont cut a slice of cheddar and eat it on its own, and cheese based sauces are a complete no no. However eating is as an ingredient (your pizza example) or having Parmesan as a light dusting on top of pasta, are acceptable. I plan to keep pushing along as there’s no other food type/category that I won’t eat.

My son is the same with cheese.

It's milk for me. It's ok in cereal, tea and so on. I can't drink it straight from a glass though.

I’m not sure I will ever reach the heights of blue cheese or fondue, but I’m making little steps 💪

Is there any other logical explanation for Hole In My Shoe?

Mushrooms of the magic variety?

I’m the same as that with milk. If I drank some from a glass, I’d be spewing everywhere, okay with it on cereals though 🤣

It's weird.

I can't put a glass to my mouth with milk in it 🤢
That really is weird. My missus is the same, and she's weird.

Apparently it stems back to school where we were given small bottles of milk with cream on top. By the time we got them they had got pretty warm and it was all a bit disgusting.

I only drink skimmed now, or oat or soya milk. All af that is easy to guzzle, but full fat milk would turn me too.
