• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

One of the hardest team lineups to predict yet because of someone new in charge
Its not even like Sheehan could go with "more of the same" since the same was utter dross and relegation form

I am going to put out there what I would "want" to see on the pitch regardless of how fit they are to play

---------------------------------- Vigouroux ----------------------------------
Key ------------- Cabango --------------------- Delcroix ------------ Tymon
----------------------------------- O'Brien ------------------------------------
----------------------------------- Franco -------------------------------------
Ronald -------------------------- Ginnelly ------------------------- Bianchini
----------------------------------- Cullen -------------------------------------

The three behind Cullen can intermix comfortably on the flanks and the number 10 position
Cullen and Bianchini are able to switch positions with Ginnelly taking the left wing, Cullen in the hole and Bianchini up top
The three at the back nonsense is put to bed, if Darling wants to play like a minge then leave him to the bench

Get some youngsters on the bench and be ready to blood them and give them opportunities / first team exposure

Until this afternoon I was going to be disappearing on holiday without giving this game a second thought. For those that do attend I hope it’s a refreshing experience for you.

I’m away for this game too, it would be interesting to see the reception for the team and back room staff on Saturday. The team has to up its game and show some passion.

It’s half term week coming up so I think that will negatively offset any upturn in attendance coming from us sacking Williams.

That’s the reason I won’t be there, travelling to see grandkids.

Back on topic....

3-1 to The Swans if we revert to our winning playbook when Williams was excluded from pre-match strategy, tactics, selection and half-time stuff.

It will ofc be a tough ask without Grimes architecting, orchestrating, chief concertmaster, lead guitarist, drummer and lead vocalist........ let's hope Joey steps up....

Do you think Joey will be back Saturday?

It’s half term in England this week which is why we’re away with the grandchildren and won’t be back until Sunday.
I’ll try to catch it on a stream to see what has changed.

I don't think anything will really change formation or tactics wise, as it's still Sheehan.
Ronald will probably still play RWB, even though he's a left winger. Bianchini, if he plays will be upfront instead of the right wing. Vipotnik will probably not get off the bench.

Will just be interesting to see if the players actually try now that Williams has gone.

Your second part is the important part for me. Even if they disliked Williams, or any other reason, they are paid to play. There's no excuse for the recent dross.

We need a point minimum from this game, by hook or by crook. We've got to arrest the continuing run of defeats and we've got to start earning points.

We probably need, what, 3 more wins - or 9 draws - to be probably ok? This is as good a game as any to start getting those 9 points.
