• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Anybody think with the recent departures, change of management and upturn in form, Darling might consider a new contract with us?

Don’t care. He’s not even half as good a he thinks he is.
He can be, consistency is his biggest issue at the moment.

Today he was excellent, he never gave Blackburn an inch, he cleared almost everything they sent into our box and some of his distribution and long passes were a delight.

Compare that to Stoke last week when he was at fault for two of the goals we conceded. But then again I don't think a single one of our team that week emerged with much if any credit.

If he would stay . Great.
If he goes I'd be concerned about his replacement being as good.

He might, specially if he finds, like Paterson, that nobody wants him!
I think he's a good player at Championship level, when he can be arsed, as he showed yesterday, and he's got a good partnership with Bango. I'd be sorry to see him go.

I think unlike Pato there would be suitors for Dalling. There’d be no transfer fee involved to start with plus he’s approaching his prime years now
