Anyone been? The wife went in her teens (about 20 years ago) to Jersey and enjoyed the WW2 stuff there - wants to go back and do Guernsey too. I've never been to either. Worth a trip?

I’ve been to Jersey a couple of times for work. It’s a lovely place, especially when the weather is kind.
That’s interesting. How does Jersey cross your line of work?

Have fancied Jersey for a long time. I imagine it to be similar to Cornwall, minus the pasties. When I mention it my wife usually scrunches her nose up like a little mouse, hence we’ve never been.

Been three times, first time with the now Mrs J2J on our Unymoon. Love it.
Hire a car, used to be cheap as chips.
Havent been for a good while now, would love to go back, there's been a lot of development in St Helier, a trip across to Gurnsey on the ferry is a fine day out.
Dont think accommodation is that cheap, if you want something a bit upmarket.
The flight from Cardiff is about 45 minutes ish.

They have a vehicle registration and driver licensing authority…

He used to be Jim Bergerac's sidekick back in the day 😂

Went years ago for one of our anniversaries which is in November we flew over in a package type deal which included a hire car which we picked up at the airport after our flight from Bristol stayed in St Helier, one of the highlights was a visit to St Brelades Bay, we always said we'd go back, but we still haven't been.

My grandparents were big Jersey and big Bergerac fans, saw many an episode whilst sat with them. I think that’s why I pander to go there.

Just asked the wife, it's on U&Drama channel, she also reckons in the new series of Bergerac Jim's farther in law is a cross dresser! 😳
Blimey, Jim’s FIL must be a bit old for frolicking around in stockings and suspenders!
