• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Just watched the second half of Sheff Utd v Lids, very enjoyable. I just don't like the Blades and Wilder, they're a bit thuggish, so it was nice to see Dirty Leeds hand them their arses on a plate.
The 'coup de grace' was a Swansea old boy 1-2, Dan James running down the wing, cutting in and sliding it to Jo Peru, who hit a worldy from 20 yards to nearly burst the net.

Funny the comms were building up Cooper the Blades keeper then within minutes they concede 2. Not his fault though.

I havent been impressed with the blades all season, and shocked theyre up there, funnily enough watching them I thought "modern day" wimbledon....and then wow what a story that club had, from non league dickie guy to DIv 1 and cup winners.

They deserved 2 points maximum from us this season. They're up there because they keep fluking results.

Obviously Leeds could still collapse but with their current momentum I would expect them to ride it all the way to the end of the season. At least that will guarantee us the Piroe promotion clause money

They are clearly the best team in the division. You wonder what might have been with so many former Swans in their ranks. I'd argue Sunderland were second and Burnley third. Sheffield United do not deserve to go up at all.

His goal last night showed us exactly what we are missing.
