• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

A large group of us had a weekend in Blackpool booked this weekend for the Preston game. Bus and Hotel had already been paid when the match was rearranged so we went to watch Fleetwood V Notts County instead.
A Facebook post from one of the boys had an incredible response from the club and we had discounted tickets for the game.
The club owner bought us a tray of shots and joined us for a drink before and after the game.
The whole match day experience was class and id strongly recommend anyone to call in at Fleetwood if you're up that neck of the woods!
We also bumped into a group of Den Haag boys who have now joined us on the piss in Blackpool!
Photo attached is us with Fleetwood Captain Brendan Wiredu who called in after the match with dirty knees!

Superb stuff pal. 🙌🏻

Richard and Painey in there 😁

Top guys those 2, Richard is Mr Entertainment 🤣

No, a bus load of sore heads has just departed the Holiday Inn pointing south!

Hope you enjoyed Fleetwood. We have some relatives there who emigrated from Plasmarl/Morriston about 80 years ago

They were 0-1 behind at half time ... scored with a pen in the 68th minute! ... went ahead 2 minutes later! ... until Notts County equalised in the 89th 😂

Brilliant day had by all who went. As @Pentyrchjack said, football with a soul and there's a brilliant community feel to the club up there
Hope you all enjoyed. Looks like they made you feel very welcome too. Hopefully they can call into us if they have a league game against Cardiff postponed or something 😉
