• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

He’s a bit of a weak link for us, the amount of times he puts us in dangerous situations is mental you’d think he’d been told by now.

Still prone to giving the ball away in dangerous areas and running down blind alleys, but has upside in work rate and carrying the ball forwards.

Shame he and Ronald play like they met just before kick-off...every game..for over a year.....

Personally I think he's quite poor on the ball and gives it away in stupid areas of the pitch.

I would be looking at either a right back to push him next season or give Parker a run in there from now until the end of the season.

Yeah, I don't think he's done enough this season to be considered a lock at RB. We should certainly look to either bring someone else in or see if Parker has what it takes - or both.

Needs to be replaced.

Give the ball away cheaply more than any other player I can remember. Ponders on it way longer than he should.

I think there is a player there. Problem is, as many have said he gives away too much. For me his issue is not as simple as that. I think he gets into positions well (not under Williams) and has drive. The problem is he does not know when to release it. Everytime I see him, I think, he is a few seconds away from losing it. If you can coach that out of him then there is a player in there. Though I would not be against a top notch replacement and him being back up option.

Not improved under Sheehan in the same way Tymon has, that’s for sure.

We need to find another Rangel.

I think he'd make a decent right winger..

Ronald on the left, key on the right and a new right back in the summer

Our very own Livramento

Yet another massively budding latent talent, a la Eom, et al.......

A proper manager will properly leverage all of our latent talents, much in the same way Sheezy has instantly unleashed, in a heartbeat

Key needs to do less, in my opinion. He often breaks up attacks, then makes crucial 10–15-yard gains. He then needs to look inside for Franco or LOB to take the move forward, but nearly always chooses to take on the opposition fullback and more often than not comes unstuck. A rough diamond that needs polishing, IMHO.

Was one of my favourite players this time last year, a real bright spark. Started noticing around then that he does take the ball  too far quite often, but assumed he'd have that coached out of him.

Here we are 12 months on, and it's become a real issue of his. Every game he'll beat two or three players, and then just keep going until he inevitably runs into a black hole and loses the ball, so frustrating.

Been a few times this season where he's lost it centrally and cause us a real issue.

Fingers crossed that he still manages to snap out of it, as he's a genuinely good player at this level
