• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Had a food think on things and we are going to be in the mix after the Leeds game and lose 1 of the games against Plymouth and Derby.....we could even find ourselves in the drop zone.

The old saying that we are sleep walking to relegation is so true with this club and fans at the moment. I think it would be ignorant, naive and silly to say that we are not in danger of getting relegated.

No manager
Boardroom a mess
Small squad
No quality in the final 3rd

Too many have their head in the sands and have done all season for me.

Nobody is saying we are not in danger

The rationale is we need 4 points

If we don't get 4 points then as we said we deserve all we get

Up to QPR and Pompey are in this now

Nobody expected anything from yesterday, or when we go to Leeds after the break. Letting at least a point slip through our hands at Watford was a blow, but Derby (home) on the 5th and Plymouth (home) on the 9th of April should secure safe passage. Lose either of those games, and anything could still happen.

All being well we shouldn't, it is in our favour.

Never say never though.;)
Never say never absolutely. Just some people, not you Clive, are more than content to award points to teams who haven't played yet and give us losses at the same time.

When we've still achieved 7 points from 5 games when others have done far worse.

We're an inconsistent team with frustratingly inconsistent players in an inconsistent league. We're absolutely shyte for a few games and then we get a couple of results. It's been happening all season long and it will continue to happen.
We'll be fine.

It's ok I never take things personally.

I have confidence that the combination of results won't go against us but we really need total focus on Derby and Plymouth and to me that includes the club doing everything to boost the crowd.
I want a relaxed ending to the season so we can start planning for next season as early as we can

I can't be as confident as some and I fully respect the optimism or reality(whatever it is 😁)

I would hope that Plymouth by the time they play us have the stuffing knocked out of them in the games before.

6 points isn't a huge task in 8 games but our lack of creativity is a worry.......1 goal in 4 matches tells us it's as much an issue now as it has been all season.

50 points are a guarantee for safety but I am hoping it will be less.

We aren't a bad side now MD. We are where we are because of Williams, not recent form/performances

12 games for Sheehan in 2 spells 5 wins 3 draws 4 losses, no one expected anything against 25 game unbeaten Burnley, Watford apart from a shocking back pass we should have took a point or 3 and the Preston game we got a hard point considering they’re solid at home, interesting week ahead.

As a side we are not bad but as a squad we are woefully weak.

I personally believe as a squad we are in the correct position in the league. It could be argued that we could be a few points better off but under different circumstances then we could easily be a few points worse off.

Did you think that up all by yourself Daps :ROFLMAO: ;)

Yes 😁

What my point is, we are not that much better primarily.

Sure people will have an opinion that we are this or are this much better.....I just think they are far from the mark.

Discounted tickets for the Hull game.

So unlikely now any for Derby & Plymouth.

Is the rule still there that home and away fans get offered the same price?

Hull won't bring many, but I expect Derby will take their full allocation. So a financial decision?
