• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The Swans could give them the North West Corner? Roughly an extra 600 seats if the Swans wanted increased revenue for the match. However, as we are not safe from relegation ourselves, perhaps that would be the wrong decision in terms of extra support for them?

Segregation would be an issue outside the ground I'm guessing ?

Actually it wouldn’t because that section entrances are inside part of the away fan compound. There are two gates and fencing for it to be used when we have bigger away crowds for FA Cup matches. Therefore that wouldn’t be a problem.

We should try and fill those areas with our own fans
They have 10 days to do something.

Maybe they could look into something regards ticket as an incentive on Mondays U21s game for the upcoming home games.

Then to avoid potential issues they should corden of the exit where the east stand leave. Like they've done v the Brizzles/,Vermin. A single barrier won't cut it if things go tits up.

Derby fans putting in a shift to support their team.

Big game this our fans should be turning up help get us over the line.

Sadly, apathy reigns ..

The product on the pitch isn't great.. too many losses over many seasons become depressing even for the loyal fan.

The commercial department needs to step up and find a way to get fans back in the ground.

I'm sure if we was in the top 4 our ground would be full so not sure finances is the main driver for our empty ground

If Derby score first it will be like a home game for them , it was like a morgue over the stadium the last home game.
Not sure bout that. Odds on we lose at Lids, fans will get twitchy and I personally think the atmosphere will be excellent. Our lot will know we need a result.

More tickets could have been given to other teams like sunderland, Pompey, etc
Exactly, with the rest of the ground not being full. They could be maximising that corner for extra income. It’s used along with the North East corner when we have to allocate 15% for FA Cup matches to the sides that bring their full allocation. Therefore for league matches if the demand is there that North West corner can be used.

It should also be used when we expecting a small away following like it was for the Gillingham fans in the league cup. They could just insert another one of those segregation fences between the West Stand and the North West corner. The 2 big sections of the North could then be used for home fans if and when the bigger home crowds were to return in the future.

All away fans should be in the corner, side or in the heavens.

It's no coincidence that almost all clubs do this maybe not so much the older grounds but almost every stadium bowl do.

Recent away fans movements have been Southampton, Stoke, Sheffield Wed, Derby and Bradford.

Need to be moved to the West Corner for sure.
