• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

I see Oxford have sold out their initial allocation of 1970 and requesting more, do you think we should offer them the full 3k?

Like to think this could be a decent home crowd for us considering the upturn from rent-a-van's departure and some actual entertainment on offer before the summer.

As we are safe from relegation(not mathematically) we will have nothing important on the game apart from wanting a win.
Looking at the home crowd against Derby and Plymouth which did mean something I don't think it will be any higher for this game.
So as a business let's make a few more £££'s going into the summer.

Looks like we've offered them another 647 by their official site.

Also if the game was away and we needed something I'd hope we would get extra.
Thinking of Bury away when we had behind 1 goal and down one side.
We practically took over that ground that day! What a sight. Especially scoring so early.

I'd rather the club slashed ticket prices and filled the ground with out own supporters.

Fingers crossed the weather is good, we play like we did against Plymouth and wet the appetite for next season.

Other than that, yeah give them what they want. The money it would bring to the city isn't to be sniffed at.

As it's a 12.30 K.O. Maybe some will come down Friday night or even make it a weekend. As you say money for the local businesses.
I think it's a Bank holiday weekend as well.

I'd be tempted to make a weekend of it

I'm making a weekend of it..

If Oxford lose tomorrow at the wendies they have a few real tough games after that. Be great if they need to beat us to ensure staying up which could well be the case

Bit of an odd thread, tbf.

Surely WE want to win every game and finish as high as possible - points mean prizes - kudos, team motivation, $ (eg there's a 50% uplift in prize money if we finish 10th vs 11th etc, as far as I recall). So, more Swans vs Oxon fans is always best for us.

We need more local folk always pitching up instead of skiving behind their illegal streams.
The product is there, the entertainment value is pitch perfect. Get on down..........
