A strange post this, esp. the last paragraph above. I for one loved seeing our only major trophy on display through the City. As did thousands of others.

Nothing wrong with showing off the trophy, and nothing wrong with enjoying it, but Laudrup stood there with a fixed, deeply uncomfortable smile on his face, like a man who felt himself a god landed amongst the trolls. He knew how these things should feel, and it was a million miles short.

I stood outside the Westbourne and watched it go past, it was just awful. Any marketing person who set that up should be ashamed of themselves.

Then just blame Laudrup for your bad memory, rather than calling the whole thing a disaster and berating marketing people. Joyous occasion for me, glad I wasn't standing next to you . Though what's all this got to do with Modric, I just don't get it .
