• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Yet to sign a new deal with Spurs, out of contract in the summer, I know he can still cut it in the Prem, but how nice would it be if he came back to help us next season.

What is the size of the project now? A few days ago a homecoming for Ben seemed out of our reach, and now a footballing god has landed upon us in Luca? How much will change as a result is guesswork.

No doubt end up at Leeds if they go up.

Spurs will have a huge rebuild..

No pay cuts or Championship football for him yet

I'd suggest that it will have little to no affect on our finances in the short to medium term, so unlikely to help us with signing established players. It might make unknown prospects slightly more likely to sign for us and will hopefully help grow our profile and get us better commercial deals in the long term.

If Ben doesn’t get a new Spurs contract I don’t think it’s out of the question he’d come here.

If I was in Ben's position, I would look for that last decent high paid prem contract.

He appears settled where he lives so good location to consider a move within the prem.

Saying that, if his goal is to return to South Wales and maybe consider his long term coaching role it could be useful to come to us to help elevate us again.

Conclusion- I've no idea 🙂😁

Palace or Fulham maybe?

He's still got a lot to offer at that level. It would be interesting to hear a Spurs fans opinion. They aren't exactly overloaded with decent defenders who can stay fit.

Fulham, West Ham, Bournemouth or possibly Leeds or Brentford. Palace are well served at LB and CB so probably not there.

Where do you see him now position wise? I don't think he's got the pace for a PL LB now. I'd have him as a left sided CB.

I see Spurs offering a 2 year contract to Ben.
He's still cutting it.

Especially at a mid-lower table club
