In the absence of any football to watch, I've tuned into this!
Wrexham leading 1-0 at half time, thanks to a very dodgy penalty, which the keeper saved but was scored on the rebound. The ref failed to give them a nailed on penalty two minutes earlier, so I suppose justice was served.
The standard of football is terrible, though. Real physical, kick and rush stuff. The ball is constantly being launched forward in the air, or put into touch by burly defenders.
If Wrexham do manage to scrape promotion, they're going to have to buy a whole new team, or they'll be straight back down.

With us...?

It'll be a real spikey one with them next season.
They'll come here full of it.

Yeah, I’ve taken a huge dislike to those cocky c@nts. People say it’ll be good for Welsh football if they go up. By that logic, it’ll be great for Welsh football if Cardiff were to stay up.

Doesn't benefit Welsh football if there are no Welsh players playing regularly.

We could sell Fulton to Wxm for £20M

Sounds like a proper scrappy match—what division is this being played in, National League or League Two? Do you think Wrexham's ownership is prepared to spend big if they go up, or will they try to stick with this squad? Also, is there anyone on the pitch who actually looks league-ready, or is it all hustle and hoofball?

Wrexham will need a rebuild for next season. Even by their own admission.

Also possibly a change on manager

Wrexham could surprise a few next season if they get promoted.

I didn't expect them to compete like they have in league one.

The manager has a ruthless side to him as well, just look at Paul Mullin who has been the poster boy for the club. The lad can't even get in the squad these days.

The owners will do what they can to make them competitive. Can you imagine the Hollywood story of going from none league to the Premier League.

Not going to happen

Every season they have been promoted the side has had investment to make them better for the league they are in.
