• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Was that in Tesco Llansamlet, called in there this morning and some of the car park was sectioned off. Never seen it there before.🤔

I just ate a curry with Chicken Tikka in.. first curry I've had in months.. I eat like an athlete, I don't look like an athlete, but I do eat like one, plus I don't drink alcohol.. I think I might become a Buddhist Monk

I have tried to perfect chicken tikka so many times and after playing with multiple combos and tasting various online purchases, I have to say that the Matt Cooper Bites mix is the best of the best.

Would you like me to treat you to a sample, Darran?

Looks amazing that, can you buy these Matt Cooper spices in shops or is just online? looks well nice, I just watched a video on you tube about it, looks a doddle to make as well.

I’ve only seen it online. I’ll be ordering some this week, do you want a bag as well?

I don’t add oil or water to mine. Instead I use natural yogurt and a squeeze of lemon juice. He didn’t use it in the video, but did mention it, I also add red food colouring so it looks even more like restaurant quality.

Thanks mate, I've got loads of stuff in the cupboard to use up for chicken,, But I will bear in mind ordering when I run out, looks like the method you use on the website, he does just that. Although don't think he put any lemon in. What way do you cook yours? On this video I'm about to show, he suggests cooking in an air fryer? I wouldn't fancy that..

Yes, I have used the air fryer with chicken thighs, it gives it a little bit of char. Also done it on the BBQ, but I think the air fryer method is better.
