Northampton away I think. Im not sure if Marcus was from Northampton. He was quite blase about the whole afair. When question about what the fk he was doing, he simply replied" Just having a wahnk" Like it was the most normal thing in the world.

Yeah it's Duncan is the one who has shut it down now. He took it over when it nearly shut about 10 years ago, it would have gone then if he hadn't stepped in, so to be fair to him he gave it a good go.

I think the way it was closed was done so poorly. No warning, no opportunity to say farewell, just wiped away overnight. Community built for years just gone like that!

Anyway, good to see you here Andrew. Are you mostly posting on this site or on others too?

Also, are you in contact with any of the other guys from the old site? I'm curious where the likes of Wyn, Jackareme, Seajack etc will post now that the SCFC2 forum is gone.

I couldn't agree more re the way it was done, I felt it was very abrupt. There will be several people who will be very unhappy at that, I've no doubt. I'd posted on there since 2010 myself, and I agree that it's a shame that a rather large and passionate community has basically been wiped overnight.

I've no idea what others are doing or how to get in contact with them. I have noticed one or two have migrated here already. I suspect there may be more to come.

This site is really good, I think Phil and his team do a fab job, and the debate is more wide-ranging and less echo chamber-ish if I'm being honest

A long time member on SCFC2 since the Gary Martin and Dai Smith days and like other new members disappointed to see the site closed down so clinically. Nevertheless life goes on to follow the ups and downs of the Swans.
