Our entire 40 player squad only cost us 3m and got us in the Premiere League in 2011 and 2m of that was spent on just 3 players and over 20 players never got on the pitch

Inflation for players has gone up massively in the last 25 years.

These days a healthy club should be supplementing the squad with players brought through from their youth ranks, if you are not doing that then a huge potential revenue stream goes down the drain.

15 years but agreed. That squad had something like 12 youth players and loads of free transfers. So I am agreeing use the U21's
