• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

On the subject of Ronald I think he will remain consistently inconsistent going forwards. But there's enough good stuff overall to make him a decent player. Worth remembering that his defensive stats are stellar, comfortably the best for a winger in the league. A big part of our effective pressing game out of possession.

For wingers it is a drastically under recognized part of the game (defensive contributions). Its easy to forget that Ronald generally covers a crazy amount of ground up and down the pitch, over the course of this year he has built up the stamina to do that for pretty much an entire game whereas before he would be blowing out of his arse after like 60 minutes.

The biggest thing for Ronald is composure, making the right decisions when he gets into those critical areas. In particular his finishing when he gets a major chance, if he has to stop and think about it he usually fluffs his lines.

Ahhh yes, the young lad that spent time down at Fairwood before having a last minute change of heart to join Norwich on loan, that one?
So it's happening unless it doesn't 🤣

Jokes aside, Romano is practically spot on barring any last minute issue 👍

My understanding is Bobby Wales has signed a pre-contract already. Medical this week sometime. Then sign the full contract when the window opens.

We dont have anything on paper with Inoussa yet, still in the negotiating phase.

Little bit of it ..

So far this season, he has five goals and one assist in 13 matches in the Allsvenskan.

Inoussa is a player who is at his best when he is in possession in the final third on the left-hand side.

From this position, he can outplay defenders and break into the penalty area; from these positions, he can create for teammates effectively.

Having already moved to clubs in France and Spain earlier in his career, it is unlikely, in our opinion, that he will repeat these moves.

Instead, he has the ability to play in the Premier League as his next move.

Good read, sounds very promising if these are the sort of targets we have in mind.

Interestingly this is where Eom is primarily played at the moment.

Perhaps this is to give competition on the left instead of Oli Cooper or to possibly move Eom into the 10 position to compete with Widell?

This is what I’m thinking, I think Widell will be playing with Franco and Eom in the middle next season, can’t see O Brien back.
