Summer Transfer Window

Last season Casper Widell was playing in the top league, Eredevise. Excelsior got relegated. Going back up this year finsihed 2nd. So he was bought to play in the top Dutch league and has 1 full season there. So not just 2nd division experience.

He is quality and will make it to the Prem Lge or one of the other top leagues in the near future. You've just got to watch his highlight reel to see the quality is there. Can he make the step up, who knows. Is the highlight reel not typical of his performances who knows.

But its by the far the best reel I've seen on a center half ever.

A Spurs supporting mate of mine told me yesterday that Spurs are not extending Ben Davies's contract.
I wonder......
it'd be nice. But literally just turned 32 so there's probably one more high/good paying contract out there for him even if its only a 2 year contract where he will be 33 near the end of it just turning 34 end of April that year.

Maybe then!!!

I wouldn't want him then. The owners need to pitch to him that he has the opportunity now to get his home town club back into the Prem.

Didnt somebody say there is a connection between one of the owners and Ben?
Think it was in The Athletic's article on Modric - Cravatt has a friendship with Ben after being introduced by Steve Nash (who's part-Welsh)

I would love for Ben to come home, but can't see it happening.
A lower to mid table PL team, or one of the newly promoted clubs would probably be in for him.

Bet Joe Allen (through no fault of his own) regrets not coming home earlier, and John Hartson probably would loved to have played for the Swans , but left it too late .

Good to see how proactive we’re being. Hopefully we see more holding the shirt soon
