Haven’t seen any posts lately regarding the ownership of the club, a comfortable end to the season, a few signings and like I said…just like all the rest.

Not sure what you are trying to say here.

As far as the new owners go, right now I don't really have anything to complain about them they have done transfer work early, are actually trying things out to expand the revenue stream of the club, they appointed Sheehan full time and have generally been a far cry from the clueless twits who were in charge before them.

Make the right calls and people don't complain, it's not quantum mechanics. Now... looking to point score when things are otherwise sweet in the camp? The sign of a disengenuos supporter of a league one club, a moron - or both. Which are you?

What exactly are you expecting then?

2 (3 in reality new signings for big money), new coaching staff, the new bar initiative, we finished 11th.

I’m someone who’s followed the club for over fifty years, drank coffee with Elvis and Biggs in Rio and chuckled at the hypocrisy of some on here.
Just like the Man U fans, just like the Spurs fans, just like the Cardiff fans and so on and on.
When things aren’t going well out you all come before jumping back into your boxes.

I've followed the club for sixty years, who I've drunk coffee with is totally irrelevant, I complain when things aren't going well at the club and praise it when things are going well. I don't know what else you expect to find on a football fans forum. Please enlighten us.

Are you feeling OK?

This thread is bonkers. So he is calling us out for not being negative, at present time but also having a go at us for being negative. I'm confused.

I think they have on the whole been a lot better.
I don't think the winter window was good, others think otherwise and that's fine but overall I think they have been better.

There is certainly a better feeling around the club, they moved quick to get Sheehan sorted and moved quick to get 2 good young prospects in since the season ended.

There is a lot of work to be done in the next couple of months but I feel we are in a better place to get things done earlier and with a better outcome.

In regards to the winter window I think much of the blame for that lies in two factors:

1. Coleman was still in charge and he has proven that a businessman he may be but he had no clue how to run a football club, that hurt us in so many ways including contract negotiations and transfer windows

2. Profit and Sustainability - because of reason 1 we so often had been forced into panic buys last minute and had paid over the odds while also underselling ourselves. As a result we had barely any wiggle room for transfer fees which also played a part in Coleman's poor performance - though that was a self fulfilling prophecy of his own making

Since he has left our early moves in the transfer market have been hugely encouraging and I am treating this summer as a clean slate for the owners who have something of a "reset" in terms of available funds as its a new season. As mentioned early moves so far have been quite impressive and now we need to wait and see if they can continue that momentum up until the window closes, they will after all only be judged positively if our squad at the end of the window is stronger than the squad that went into it

How anyone can think the winter window was anything other than a disaster is beyond me.
