• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Best thing about Leeds being in the PL next season is that some of Wales' most important players should get regular football at the top level in the run-up to a World Cup that we will hopefully qualify for.
The June games will be critical, Wales have given themselves an excellent start with the opening two games and now need to follow them up

Charlton coming up will bring back memories. Think it was our first game promoted to the Championship 3k away support at the Valley.

Coaches were stuck in traffic & we just missed the kick off, got in just in time to see Hudson score 🤬
Looking at our starting line up we had Matty Collins playing, I'd completely forgotten he played for us!

What a delight it was to see the dinosaur Chris Wilder and his expensively accumulated squad lose out for another season in the Championship, and this time on far less parachute payments.

As for the Charlton opener in 2008, a disappointing start by Swans in front of 3,300 travelling fans, conceding both goals from set pieces - a corner and a f/kick, with the 1st goal scored after 110 seconds. Monk s/off, his 2nd yellow on 69 minutes.

Mattie Collins started at right back, arguably Martinez's worst signing for the Swans.

Worse than that Man Utd youngster?
The one he only ever brought on in stoppage time (presumably because of a minimum appearances count clause)?

A number of names worth keeping an eye on for Orient today

Galbraith (who we are allegedly interested in)
Three former Swans in Abdulai, Cooper and Pratley

So much for that

Abdulai on the bench
Cooper and Pratley not even in the matchday squad

Nathan Jones talking like he just took Charlton into the Champions League. They didnt even get promoted yet. He is such an egotistical twunt.

I dont dislike Charlton I might add, but am very fond indeed of the Os for reasons already discussed(several times) This is rare time when I am, as aneutral, 100% rooting for one side rather than the other.
