A team physically fitter will eventually overwhelm another team that is less fit over 90 minutes, it's common sense.

But you discount the quality of Tosh team at your peril. The players of the ilk of Curt, Robbie, Leighton, Jimmy , Jeremy etc had the skill and quality to control and slow play, notwithstanding the fitness of a 2010 team.

So ..no to overwhelm for me. Just the wrong word is all. Fitter yes.

But bollox to this debate. I've seen both teams (not sure if you have). But no matter - I love them both. And I'm sticking with 2-2

When I say overwhelm what I mean is Brendan's side would come out on top due to superior fitness and a high tempo passing style, which would see his team keep the ball for long stretches forcing Tosh and his lads to chase the game until they are eventually overwhelmed by the tempo of the game.

Pretty sure the F1 cars of today would beat the F1 cars of 30 years ago.

F1 is all about speed. No comparison to the vagaries of a football match with the quality Tosh's team had.

To repeat, I've seen and loved them both.
