Summer Transfer Window

We all know almost all aready but there's some extra detail in here.

He says three more permanent transfers plus one loan signing being worked on

One of those sounds like O'Brien - its a very open secret that we want him back
Assuming another one is a striker - be that McBurnie or someone else

Going to guess either the other permanent signing or the loan will be left back cover/competition for Tymon and perhaps the last one would be competition in the holding midfield sort of role

Can't see it happening, if it did I'd be tempted to put 50p each way on us making the playoffs.
I feel like our squad right now is shaping up very well indeed jaxs

If we get in a striker who suits Sheehan's style (Cullen plays best as a 10 and Vipotnik the jury is out on if he is suited to his high press quick transition style) then I see a team with plenty of attacking quality on both flanks, Eom through the middle after a breakthrough second half of the season and a striker who can put away the chances and playoffs certainly look more than reasonable.

Other than Sheff Utd (and they are very much undecided due to having to adapt to another season with parachute payments) I think the Championship is more open this season than the past 3-4 years.

Your spot on there about next seasons Championship, think Coventry and Birmingham will have a punt, but now the giants from down east are out of the way I can see us being in the mix for a playoff spot 😎

Although I hope we resign O'Brien it does beg the question of who will feature in our starting eleven. O'Brien won't be on the bench, and we wouldn't have spent a fair bit in Widell for him to be on the bench either. So that would probably leave Eom and Cullen on the bench, although the latter may (mistakenly in my book) continue to feature as a 9. Having genuine strength in depth is a good thing, but it would be a shame if Eom in particular is sidelined, given the strides he made under Sheehan. Unless he replaces Ronald on the right.

Widell and Inoussa might need time to bed into the British game. I wouldn't be putting too much expectation on them early and having a bit of depth to accommodate a possibly adjustment can only be a good thing.

Eom will start unless injured. Bookmark if you want.

Promotion contenders have options to bring on from the bench after 60-70 minutes to provide fresh legs and new problems for defenders. Eom, Inoussa, Ronald, Bianchini, Parker, Congreve, Govea and Ginnelly certainly provide plenty of options at the top end of the pitch.

I would expect Govea and Parker to go out on loan this season to get first team experience in the same way Congreve did last season. Six attacking players on the books for two wide positions plus bench options seems about right to me.

Good points, but with the amount we're spending on them I would expect Widell and Inoussa to start sooner rather than later. My guess is that Bianchini will leave on loan or permanently, perhaps with Parker as back up to Ronald. Other than O'Brien I think we're done with 8s and wingers incoming. The number one priority is a strong candidate to rotate with Franco as a 6. An utility full back is the second priority.

With Burgess signing i guess the situation with Darling moving will become apparent

A Rangers move would be a mistake I feel as RM won't be there long. Norwich would appear a good fit same at Brum.

Wrexham and Bristol City wouldn't improve his career much either but would be cash rich.

Parker's ship has sailed off to Cheltenham or Stevenage I'm afraid, same for Congreve.

A move to ranjers is always a mistake. Big John had a close shave 😳 💚

These signings, Innoussa, Burgess, trying to get O Brien back, talk of more. Really exciting.

But.....

Where's the money coming from? Sorry to put a dampener on things.
