• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Swansea City: Move Over Darling - Harry flies off to be a Canary

It's no good criticising Darling too much , the root of the blame lies at the club for not sorting his contract out sooner.
Wasn’t there a contract offer on the table pretty much as soon as the old pair of tosser owners cleared off? He chose to leave. Not that it matters, as I think (hope) we’ve upgraded.

Given us 3 years of service, only one of which(the last) he’s really proved his worth. Don’t understand some fans resentment towards him. We’ve lost far better players and he for one isn’t them. Wish him well, we move on. At least this time we’ve been proactive rather than reactive and panic buy.

Writing was on the wall when he got mysteriously injured in the hotel before the Millwall away match and he then limped around the Swansea.com after the Oxford Game. Reminded me of Leroy Fer's injury and Llorente's arm injury.

Too much has been made of this. He’s a better footballer than Cabango and a better footballer and defender than Nathan Wood but he’s far from the complete package. He’s honest and hardworking with a bit of skill but he’s mid-championship level at his best. He might develop and gain that bit extra but it’s unlikely imo. Good solid average pro.

Whatever.

Much like several players in our squad, no world beater, an ok player but nothing special. I'm sure Norwich will discover that for themselves in time.

We've already moved on with the signings of Santos and Burgess, onwards we go.

Don't begrudge him a pay day if that's what he was after.
But don't try to fool me with this 'heavy heart' nonsense.
He's known for months he was leaving, doesn't seem too cut up about it.
Thanks for the service, for clattering the scum in the derby.
We've already moved on.
Please don't score against us this season.

Theres probably a page with a draft in it , within the PFA players annual for players to use in such instances.........each seems to be word for word.
