• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

You must have been on some primo drugs. Oasis didnt play Glastonbury until 1994.
I went to both. Looked at the '93 lineup and only recall seeing Porno for Pyros (awful), Velvet Underground (Lou Reed Grumpy and held together by John Cale) and the Kinks (who were great) and Spiritualised (again great). So '94 with my now wife it was. She can't remember them either. Then again if they were playing in the garden .....

Rod the Mod , Every Picture tells a Story 33 rpm vinly LP back in the day , what an album .
Rod and The Faces too , great stuff as a younster to grow up listening to .

He was at the Liberty some years ago , memory is fading on timeline but I thought he talked too much on stage , kept the link on football and his love of the game as a bit of OTT .
A lot of the audience around me were there for the music , not listening to soccer stories .USA .

Will tune in to the Legends spot Sunday , he will probably put on a great set too .

I watched Spiritualized in 92. Lazer Guided Melodies was sublime.
