• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

As well as our tough final matches, according to Opta we also have the second most difficult start to the season.

Where the hell in this season is our run of easier games?

Rated the 2nd most difficult run of fixtures up until the 1st international break and the most difficult leading up to the 2nd international break.

If we are in or around the play off pack after that then we will have done very well imo.

Mid table at that point will been doing well. Can make a push after that whilst critically being away from the drop zone.

Lets not forget we were circling the drain for a bit last year, any advance on that would be great. Lets not get ahead of ourselves and think a few unproven signings are going to carry us to promotion. Same mentality the scum have had for a few years that and look how it turned out for them. Excited for the unknowns and the season though!

Some of the teams that people expect to be good will turn out to be crap and some of the teams that people expect to be crap will turn out to be good.

It's the very definition of the Championship.
