• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

He will be handled in the same way as the vast majority of other managers, measured by results.
But to what level given a more pro active approach in the transfer market.
Come November and we are sitting let's say 12th, would they see that as ok or would they be looking at more with their investment in these new players.

If you were a player would you be rushing to join a team when you know they’re under an embargo?
This will be the big question and what people could use.

They can only sign free transfers until January 2027, how competitive a squad are they going to assemble under those circumstances? Is there any guarantee that they will pay out their wages on time?

You’d be bonkers to sign for Sheff Wed now… players and staff haven’t been paid for 2 months.

If we're 12th by the second international break then we'd be doing very well, given the severity of our opening fixtures. I'm sure they would know that.

You would think our previous owners did

But they sacked Guidolin (on his birthday no less, by email no less no less!) after picking up 1 point from his opening 5 games when all but one of them were against the previous season's top six.
