• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Am I missing something here and/or being very thick? Swans TV say you can buy a whole season TV pass for £140 (only for International viewers mind) and they say that works out at "less than £6 per game".

There's 46 games in the season and ok some will be picked up by Sky, but £140 divided by £6 is only 23 games.

Anyone help out an ageing dipstick here to understand this better?

Has to be a home only or away only package, surely?

That would be logical but the OS doesn't say that I don't think. I'll have a re read.

And don't call me Shirley

I can't see any reference to Home only games and in the last season whenever I was, ahem, abroad the purchase price of £10 per game was the same regardless of it being home or away

I have decided to decline this amazing offer, even though I might regret it.
Cough*fawanews*cough

I have probably forgot to mention it, but I live in Spain.

Is fawa still operating? It seems to have disappeared when I use my bookmark.

Fair enough but I'd rather pay the dosh than have my pc infected by goodness knows what from the interweb. It's not as if I NEED a 15" p*nis

Just load a firestick, can’t believe people still piss about with websites in 2025

Fawanews.com is definitely defunct but I see another site fawanews.co.uk seems to have materialised. Not sure if it will be functional or not.

Wouldn't touch Swans TV with a barge pole. It's a complete and utter shambles and not fit for purpose. The amount of posters complaining about Swans TV over the years on here is off the scale.

As an expat I want to speak up for Swans TV - IF (like me) you watch every kick of every game it is usually decent - although sometimes it does drop - which can be frustrating - more so in the last season.
I also have to travel to other countries to catch the dark market games - but on the whole, if you live breathe and love the swans it is well worth the season ticket

Tbf, I've used it for a few seasons and it's always worked fine here in Spain 😃
