Got so sick of the Legacy Media that I decided to pay a few pounds a month for Ground News. Its amazing to see what sites like the Beeb dont report that turn up here. It breaks all news down by who is reporting what . Fascinating. I Was not paid for this post...

The two news sites I use regularly are The Guardian (cos it’s free) and The Times (which I have a subscription to). How much is this and what will I get from it?

1)£1.99 a month and 2) a balanced view of the news with a fact checked rating on all stories(AFAIK).
It puts a red /blue sliding scale on every story which indicates which "side" is giving most "air" to which story.
Its quite surprising(The example below is not particulary slanted either way, but is for illustration) Some stories are ALL blue or all red) Have a read. You get two free stories a day I think. Im not sure.

Last week there was headline story about the BBC in which they were hauled over the coals for using the son of Hamas official to narrate a piece about the conflict. It was obviously a prominent story. When I looked on the BBC site, I couldnt find a headline. I eventually found it buried halfway down an unrelated article.
Ironically it was the BBC who convened the Trusted News Initiative, to collude to supress certain competing news sites of differing viewpoints. I wonder why? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trusted_News_Initiative
I think its worth it to avoid living in an echo chamber. If I only read things written by people who share my world view, I dont feel I am getting the whole picture. Thats just me.
Lots of people are happier reassuring themselves they they are on the right side. Quite often there isnt a right side.
