If the tactics mean the ball never gets to the striker, no striker will be able to do anything. It's the same problem we had under Williams

I get that but Cullen is not the answer. Nor Fulton or Parker.

We have our CBs they just need to get fit and Burgess needs to play to his reputation. Elsewhere, I doubt we’ll be buying 3 first teamers..maybe loans.

Unfortunately nothing will mask the fact that Cullen and Ronald are League 1 players and so are Key and Tymon defensively. Fulton is just total gash and the new players are untried. Somehow Sheehan has to select and structure the team to try and compensate, at least for Key and Tymon, and Fulton, Cullen and Ronald need to be dropped and, better, sold. Franco needs a rocket up his arse before next week too.

Cabango we know will be fine,Santos we will not know until he plays.
We have a very lightweight midfield selection presently and desperately need someone who can sit in there and let the others do their thing.
Cullen is not a central striker and we desperately need someone who can play that role and get goals.

I was a figure of fun a few weeks back for suggesting we may be in for a rough ride. My post literally drew ROFL emojis when I said we could go down this season. I will offer my services again by suggesting we all wait and see how next week goes before getting too despondent. It is, after all, a funny old game.

Whenever I see Cullens name, it shows me where we are. He is better than I give him credit for, but if we are starting the likes of Cooper and Cullen, we are in the shyt.

Surely Parker is only playing due to the lack of CB options, even if Cabango and Santos (who I have grave doubts about) are fit that still isn't enough players at that position.

Silver lining has to be that it spells out how weak our defensive ranks truly are.

The FB"s can't defend very well (espically Key) and beyond Cabango and Burgess we have nothing that is Championship tested (or seemingly Championship ready)

We need to be understanding of young Parker.. Fulton Key and Ronald on the other hand..
Bit better 2nd half and have created z bit including a very good chance for Ronald. However, unfortunately his finishing is similar to his crossing - for the most part useless. When he gets a chance he needs more touches than Epstein at a spa.

I hate to say this but with Fulton channelling his inner grimes (backwards, deepest player), he must have been told to…it looks like a shit version of Willyball.

Starting to wonder if the post Williams results were a reaction to him f'ing off more so than Sheehan's more direct counter attacking style or a combination of both? Either way, this isn't great.

Even without injury VP hasn’t been used he should have been starting every game this pre season.

Said that after the Exeter game. Surely we're not going to face 'Boro without a striker? And if we are going to have a striker, why are we not playing these games with that shape? We played about 75 minutes at Exeter without a cf then the last 5 minutes with 2 when Wales came on. Bizarre.
