2 goals and an assist at the .com for the u21s tonight. Look sharp from the off although faded last 20 after taking a kick to the ankle.

Needs a loan to league 1 or 2 this season if he's not going to be involved in the squad, but he should be. Get him on the pitch on Tuesday v Crawley for starters.

Do we know the lineup as well as the other scorer and assists?

Wilson seemed too good for the u21s last season. Not sure another year there will do him that much good

Good call. I'm big fan of his and would love to see him involved on Tuesday.

Kai Rhodes grew into the game and was excellent 2nd half. Hit the bar with a screamer. Ginnelly went off at half time after not doing a great deal. Expected more from Govea.

Woodward got the other goal of the bench.

Just home from the game. Wilson looked sharp. Kai Rhodes again impressed. Such a confident 16 year old! Ginnely looked ok to me but not sure if he went off half time due to injury or a planned substitution. I also like the look of Zach Jeanes at full back. Seen him twice this season and he is a confident player who backs himself.

I've not much hope for Ginnelly to be honest, been out to long with his injuries I just don't see much of a future here for him, late 20's now as well, depends on how he is coping after his injuries the mind is a powerful thing.

See no point in this tbh. I'd rather see Vip and Cullen bag a few and get them up and running.

Sadly I would agree. That injury still seems to be affecting him mentally, and I can't see him having a future with us. Shame as I was there when he scored that brilliant goal in the league cup and thought what an exciting signing. He did ok last night to be fair but seemed to be holding back a bit in challenges.

As Niigata Jack said the mind is a powerful thing, and until he comes through two or three crunching challenges and realizes that he is still alright he will always be holding back that 10% that defined him before the injury.

Wilson is 21 in December. He should have at least one, preferably two full seasons out on loan under his belt by now.

We keep these players trapped in the youth setup for far too long. It delays and I think damages their development. There's no substitute for proper, competitive football.

I haven't seen anything of the game myself, but you saying he did ok is encouraging (y)

I reckon that's spot on in fairness.
