Eom looked busy when he came on tonight. Wales looks to have the knack of being in the right place at the right time. Galbraith and Widdell showed quality, and Innoussa did more than Ronald.

Disagree on Inoussa and Ronald. Ronald scored the first, put a lovely ball in which Vipotnik couldn't quite reach for a tap in, then was in a position to score a second via a tap in himself, but somehow missed it. Plus Sheehan obviously rates Ronald, so I expect him to start Saturday. I think Inoussa's got something about him, but looked very raw.

If this Brighton lads signs and is ready for Saturday, I'd have him with Galbraith and Franco in the midfield. Widdell ran around a lot, but I didn't see a lot else to get excited about.

I also think it's putting a lot on Wales to start him based on tonight, as promising as he looked. I hope we see Vip up top, but it will probably be Cullen.

I’d would have Ronald Wales Inoussa. Inoussa has looked better in that left position linked with Tymon and Ronald has been playing better. Eom loses in the physical department compared to those two and he needs to look for passes more.

Eom's final product is not great and he's not the most physical, agreed. However, the difference in the amount of chances we created once Eom replaced Inoussa and the increase in quality was stark to me. I think Eom's going to take a big leap forward this season.

Well no because they would have actually got to the ball and had a shot. But at the end of the day it’s the scoreline that counts and today it could have been 4-1 if he wasn’t there. And if Vips only redeeming quality tonight was that he nearly got on the end of a cross and maybe could have finished it, It’s not good enough.

His redeeming quality tonight was the brilliant pass to set Ronald away in the second half. If you watch the Sky Sports highlights, it's at the 50 second mark.

As for the 4-1, he was standing where you'd expect a striker to be, although I agree it would have been good for him to be more alert and gotten himself onside when the shot was hit. It's not on the highlights, so haven't had a chance to see if he had time to do so.

I think you're coming round on the inaccuracy of your original comment that he was 'nowhere close to scoring' so that's good. I'm not convinced by Vipotnik, but think some have made up their minds and there is no shifting them, which is a shame.

I was keeping an eye on the replay, VP had tons of time to get back onside he was jogging around pretty much on the spot with his finger in his arse.

I've been a vocal supporter of VP over the last season but tonight was poor from him against as limited an opposition as he will likely get to play against all season. Two golden chances if he was reacting and anticipating better, one in the first half and one in the second.

One good touch and flick on does not make a good performance. Strikers are ultimately judged on goals but coaches and fans who know what to look for also judge their overall contribution to the side and he offered shockingly little overall in that regard unfortunately.

One good pass does not redeem that performance. He didn’t get to the ball so it’s not an inaccuracy there was no chance he could have scored that goal. Look he may get better I don’t know, but as of now he doesn’t deserve to be anywhere near the starting line up.
