Today's attendance

The Sky red button option at 3pm will be the end of people just walking up. Many people are happy sitting at home without the expense and hassle of travelling, parking and paying for entrance to a game.

The atmosphere will be gone at many games in a few years.
The sky red bottom option for 3pm games isn’t an option. Apart from last weekend.

Tell me you didn’t go the game yesterday without telling me you didn’t go. And that for me is my last reply to you. Get better bait.
Trampie is a troll. He has them on strings next door, he fancies his chances here as well but I’m guessing we’re not as dim as they are.

A big reason for attendance is the availability of streams. There’ll be plenty who would be at the game if they couldn’t watch it from their living rooms.

Spot on, doesn't help with bringing people through the turnstiles.

Ps Don't know how Golf worked it's way in there 🤣

Quick question for my info. The pitch was absolutely immaculate yesterday, like a billiard table. Is that it for the egg chasers now as far as our stadium is concerned, or are they still going to be churning it up to resemble a ploughed field?

It's August, lots of people are away.

We had one shot on target at Boro. We don't currently have a decent striker. That didn't exactly sell yesterday's fixture.

We had 4 years of MartinWillyball and some people are still suspicious.

It was sunny and people might have fancied the beach and/or beers instead.

And yes, some people just probably weren't arsed and watched it on a stick.

It's all of these things combined, it's not any one thing.

If we carry on playing like we did yesterday, word will get around and attendances will grow. Especially when people are back off hols.

The way we stormed forward for the goal was as good as you’ll get, also for a few minutes during the game we had all 10 outfield players way inside their half.
Plenty of good football played yesterday. Wait until they all get used to each other, very positive looking ahead. It is the hope that kills you though.

Again, that's a lazy excuse, it's obvious for all to see that these owners are completely different to the previous.
It takes a little bit of time for the casual fans to be drawn in. Money is tight and if it’s a choice between footy and other forms of entertainment then I can understand why some have to give the footy a miss. It’s not like the past two years have been a roaring success. More games like yesterday will never fail to put bums on seats.

At no stage yesterday did i think we were passing for passing sake. Every time we had the ball we looked to move it forward, particularly when Galbraith had it.

I believe they are going to play their home games at the Brewery Field in Bridgend this season until St Helens is ready.
